Treat yourself to a wonderful getaway weekend
retreat of exploration, discovery and inspiration
on the shores of Lake Ontario at Appleton, NY.

This weekend retreat is for Deaf individuals who wish to
shift their lives from a rut into a fulfilling life that can be
life, love, relationship or quality time.  You will leave your comfortable zone and take action for change in your life.

In a beautiful surrounding of tranquil scenery, your Deaf
retreat facilitators, Deborah and Dorothy will walk with
you in your journey.

Why go on a Deaf Weekend Retreat?

Making time in your busy life to go on a retreat is a fine
gift you can give to yourself. A retreat is an investment
in your health and your personal relationship with yourself.

This retreat will give you a chance to pause and look at
your life from a new perspective by breaking the cycle.

Also, a retreat often unlocks answers to the questions
that you just may not take the time to ask because there
are many interruptions in your life.

You will learn different strategies and tools on how to get
out of your comfortable zone and take action for change.

Taking a retreat is a nurturing “time-out” just for you:

    A time to rejuvenate your mind, body and spirit;

    To reconnect with your authenic self;

    To reconnect with nature; to be quiet and centered;

    To spend your space in me “being” rather than “doing.”

During this weekend, you will:

    1. Identify what habits do not work anymore.

    2. Explore which five domains (mind, body, emotions,
        soul and spirit), what strengths and weakness that
        you may have.

    3. Identify the challenge in the five domains and
        find ways to break it.

    4. Declare your intention through your life stories.

    5. Utilize tools, steps to apply to everyday and continue
        to be the change.

    6. Maintain the change.

Also you will:

    1. Join us at a Zipline in Canada in an adventure and
        challenge as a breakthrough.
        Bring your passport or enhanced driver's license!

    2. Work out in floor yoga and/or chair yoga classes.

    3. Savor healthy nutritious wholesome meals.

    4. Have tasty s’mores at the campfire.

    5. Go on a mindful walk amid the beauty of fall.

There will be several thought-provoking and adventurous physical
activies, group play, life coaching sessions, story exchanges and
mindful actvities.

You will come away with an action plan to live the life you want!
